91Âţ»­app’s IACUC oversees the ethical care and use of animals in research and teaching. We support investigators with guidance, training, protocol review, and federal compliance.

  • Facility Support â€” Procedures for access, inspections, emergency planning, and essential personnel lists.

Getting Started (New Investigators)

  1. Complete required CITI training (“Working with the IACUC” and any technique-specific modules).
  2. Prepare medical clearance (see Medical Clearance page for your role).
  3. Submit the IACUC Application with any required appendices.
  4. Check meeting dates & deadlines to plan your timeline.
  5. Monitor email for revisions—timely responses speed up approvals.
